you only live once

Wednesday morning, I woke up to a short msg:

“Dear all parents,

If the weather is good, we will be taking all children to the neighborhood park for gross motor skills activities. We plan to leave at 9:am sharp.

Please dress your kids in thin pants — for sun and bug protection.

Please arrive early.”

I jumped out of bed, grabbed the little one, and prepped her as fast as possible.

Because I knew the little one LOVES hitting the park.

But this time…

I decided to do something else.

As the clock struck nine…

I sneaked back from my office, hid behind the bush, pulled out my phone, and zoomed in with the camera.

🤣🤣🤣

I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw…

The director pushed out a baby stroller with 2 tiny kids…

…the teacher pulled out a camping trailer with 4 super tiny kids jammed inside

…and then

…our kiddo wandered out holding the teacher’s hand, stumbling into the park.

I sneaked a quick video and sent it to Tracy.

“LOL”

“She walked to the park by herself!”

Yes, the little one was the only two in the whole class who were able to walk to the park by herself. Looking back, it felt so long… and fast at the same time.

This is how you’re going to feel growing your business, too.

Every day, week, month, and year felt so long…

There are so many things you need to do…

But suddenly, you’ll look back and realize how far you’ve come.

How fast it’s already the last quarter of 2025.

So, enjoy the journey.

You only live once.

To your success,
