you have a story, now what?

In the last email, I made a claim:

“If you change nothing else in the product… offer… or timeframe… and focus on finding ONE good narrative to support your upcoming sales event. You will undoubtedly crush your previous record.”

This is 100 percent true.

BUT –

I’ll admit.

I also left out some crucial context.

Because I want to keep things simple for you. To remove the complexity. To help you do less… but better and more effectively.

But the reality is…

“jUSt GIve iT A sTOrY”

…is a lot harder than it sounds.

Coming up with a good narrative is arguably THE HARDEST part

Sometimes, I spend weeks brainstorming, finding a small hook, digging into the rabbit hole, following every clue, trail, and curiosity… trying to discover that one big idea.

But even after I found that one good narrative…

It’s like being up 2:0.

It’s too early to be happy.

“What’s there to be happy about? Job’s not finished.”

(picture an ice-cold Kobe scaring the 💩 out of reporters with his Mamba mindset)

Because results lie in the EXECUTION

~ how do you announce the sales event to peak interest BEFORE you even open the cart

~ how many emails should you send each day during each stage of the promotion to maximize revenue — without burning the list (there are 5 different stages in every promo)

~ how can you make prospects THANK YOU for sending them more sales emails

~ what type of emails should you never send

~ why most testimonials are less effective than you believe (and the right way of using testimonials in emails)

~ why your email is only 10 percent of the success (and what’s the 90 percent that drives the result)

~ the one email every brand should send during any promotion

And more.

And this is what I would like to discuss next.

To be continued…
