If you were bored… and you pull out your phone to entertain yourself with some mindless short video… you will crumble at the sight of:
“Sorry, TikTok isn’t available right now.”
BUT
As dramatic as the ban, the app was back online the following day after President-Elect Trump signaled he would grant a 90-day extension.
But the interesting thing is:
Trump was the one who issued an executive order to ban TikTok in the US—during his first term. (Biden only followed through)
No, this is not a political post.
I don’t live in the US right now, and I couldn’t care less who’s on the throne.
But the big lesson here?
Now that you’ve seen what can happen…
Be careful when building your business on shaky foundations because things can change overnight.
If one politician… or social media platform… can put all your hard work down the drain, it’s time to re-evaluate your marketing approach.
