This is what February looked like for me:
~ Feb 2: End of Chinese New Year holiday
~ Feb 3: Little one goes to school for ONE day
~ Feb 4: The little one started vomiting and diarrhea
~ Feb 4: I followed… living in the bathroom
(doctor suspected Norovirus)
~ Feb 8: The little one recovered—back to school for ONE day
~ Feb 10: The little one woke up with a light fever
~ Feb 10: The light fever turned into a 40℃ fever at night
(doctor suspected flu)
~ Feb 14: The little one is finally going back to school again
I remember the doctor stared at us and sighed:
“Yeah, this is her first winter. It’s going to be long… especially since she’s 10M old and lost most of her mother’s antibodies.”
This is the thing most entrepreneurs don’t talk about.
You are not working a 4-hour workweek. You are not pulling 6 or 7-figures while sitting half-naked on the beach, sipping a margarita, doing nothing. You are juggling life and business with a TON of personal responsibilities.
It’s hard work.
(but I guess that’s not a good slogan for a new course: I will teach you how to work really, really hard—mastering a new skill by practicing EVERY SINGLE DAY—so that you can eventually live a better lifestyle)
Lesson?
If you’re tired of seeing all the 20-year-olds bragging about making a million buckaroos without doing anything—and you are questioning every decision in your life…
DON’T
What you see on social media is not real.
It never was…
It never will be.
Talk soon,

PS – Months like this are when I’m really happy that I insist on planning and strategizing my clients’ email marketing campaigns weeks in advance.
Like what my coach, Angie Colee, told me yesterday:
“Clients will often be very resistant to planning ahead. Because in their minds, if we plan too far out in advance, then we don’t have flexibility. But no, if we don’t plan far in advance, we don’t have flexibility. That’s the point.”
