The folklore you’ve never heard of

In the 8th century…

There was a powerful and ruthless king. He had a sharp and defined jawline reflecting his stern attitude. He wore lavish clothing and luxurious accessories—rings, bracelets, and necklaces shiny with precious stones…

…to hide the deep, bitter wound:

The betrayal of his first wife.

This trauma led to a cruel behavior –

He would take on a new bride… and execute her the following morning to avoid betrayal. This continued until a calm, confident, and clever woman decided to earn his trust with a brilliant plan:

She would tell a mesmerizing story, capturing the king’s attention, and… go radio silent for two weeks.

She didn’t want to bother the king until she created a new discou story.

So, the king forgot about her, and the guard executed her.

The End

…

…

What?

That’s not how the story went?

Yeah, but that’s how most businesses treat their email list.

When people read the story of the 1001 Arabian Nights, they focus on how you can build a strong relationship with storytelling. They highlight how open/close loops… and cliffhangers can sustain attention for years.

But most people overlook the fact:

Scheherazade—the story’s heroine—told one new story EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR A THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHT… without breaking the streak.

The consistency…

…frequency

…storytelling mastery

…are the reasons why she survived.

It’s not the win of one good story.

With that being said –

If you want to build a positive (and profitable) relationship with your subscribers by telling fun, interesting stories every day… without worrying about coming up with 1001 stories yourself…

I can help.
