I always say:
We are marketers, not brain surgeons.
This means…
The earlier you plan your campaigns, the better.
BUT
Growing a business is never a straight line.
~ You don’t know when the software will fail
~ You don’t know when a tea will be ready to sell
~ You don’t know when your client might need to pivot (because of a million potential reasons)
This is something no course ever teaches.
In real business, you must always remain flexible when serving a client.
No, this does not mean you say “yes” to everything…
I always have my boundaries.
But this also does not mean you get to say “no” to everything.
(I laugh when armchair copywriters say they want to fire the client who wanted to make revisions)
That’s why…
I’m sitting in front of my laptop, crafting a new launch for my client.
Yes, I don’t like to work on weekends.
But I’m still determined to crush it.
That’s how you KEEP a client for months (or even years) without worrying about “retention.”

PS – I’m considering documenting how I plan, strategize, and draft this upcoming launch. Reply and let me know if you’d like to see it.
