One thing I discovered in my recent renovation experience is:
Contractors are worse than goldfish.
You need to hold a megaphone, shout instructions into their ears… EVERY GOD DAMN HOUR… to make sure they “get things right.”
Because even if you have a clear list of “what I want you to do”…
…they will STILL forget and mess up every single time.
So –
Let me hold a megaphone and shout a quick recap into your ears.
Step by step, how to create a laidback promo calendar that can make it rain every month—without the whole team scrambling last minute
Step 1 – Start by asking the right questions
Step 2 – Fill in the most important events FIRST
Step 3 – Finish off the week(s) with multiple campaigns promoting the SAME product
To be continued…
– WYH
P.S. – There’s actually a Step 4…
You adjust on the fly.
Many business owners are reluctant to create a promo calendar because they think it “limits” their flexibility.
This is not true.
Having a promo calendar GIVES you the flexibility.
It allows you to communicate with your team clearly… and have a plan ready.
However, you are not ‘married’ to this plan.
You CAN still adjust.
But at least your team won’t be scrambling at the last minute every week.
