not a white friday offer but…

What I’m sharing with you is the most important mindset for today.

First, a story:

Last week, at the Baseball Premier 12 championship game –

It’s the bottom of the ninth inning

4:0

One out

Kurihara Ryoya was batting

“Ho-ho-ho-ho-HOOOOOOO”

The crowd was cheering so loud you could barely hear the commentator.

*swing*

The ball soared toward first base

Yu-Hsien Chu snatched the ball from the air right before it hit the ground. He made one leap, stepping onto the base with his left foot…

DOUBLE PLAY

Game over

Taiwan’s baseball team—averaging only 24.5 years old—brought home the first championship trophy in 32 years, making history.

(ending Japan’s 28th winning streak)

It’s a special moment.

But here’s the wrong way to look at the win:

Many people look at the success of one game… and contribute everything to that day’s good performance. But in reality…

80% of the hard work came BEFORE the game.

The weeks, months, and years of getting up at 6 am to practice…

Swinging and pitching in the rain…

The sweat, tears, and blood…

All of these together gave you a shot to win.

Keep this in mind as you roll out your BF promo today.

Sure, you try your best not to mess up.

But the final result –

A hit? A flop? A meh?

A big part of it was determined BEFORE today—weeks in advance.

What’s the relationship with your list? Do your subscribers trust you? How much preselling did you do? Did you work hard to create a truly exciting offer? (or just a boring 25% off?) How many emails did you send leading up to the open cart? (Or did you went cricket on your list for months?)

All of these are done before the promo…

But they make or break your results.

So, enjoy the moment.

But don’t get attached to the immediate win or lose because it’s a lagging indicator. Let the dust settle… collect the data… look at the number… and ask:

“OK. What is one thing I can improve next time?”

Cheering for you,
– WYH

PS – Next week, once you have the result…

I’ll share a strategy for analyzing that data with you. Many had paid thousands of dollars to learn this strategy.
