is flu shot a scam?

At the end of January, a celebrity from Taiwan flew to Japan for vacation, and what happened next shocked the public:

It was Jan 29.

She arrived at Hakone with her family.

She was supposed to follow a hot springs itinerary. But when she landed, the celebrity was coughing and out of breath, so… she visited a local hospital.

The doctor said, “You have the Influenza A virus. You must be careful.”

She received some medicine and left.

For the next two days, she rested in the hotel.

It’s just the flu.

Good rest + Early Medicine = No Big Deal

…right?

But on the night of Jan 31, everything turned worse.

The flu became pneumonia—killing the celebrity at the young age of 48.

(it took only 4 days)

While this is scary…

It is NOT a special case.

CDC estimates that in the year between 2010 and 2020…

Flu caused 9 to 41 million illnesses, 140-710k hospitalizations, plus 12k to 52k deaths annually. More than car crashes. (approximately 44k/yr people died in motor accidents in the US)

HOWEVER

There will always be people who refuse the jab:

~ “Never going to get one. The jab is a shot in the dark. Best guess is not my idea of good medicine.”

~ “The flu almost killed me one year. But… I’m still not taking the shot.”

~ “I’m afraid of getting a fever from the vaccine. (OS: but I’m okay with the fever from the flu itself)”

(well, at least this means my family and I can get the shot without worrying about running out)

Lesson?

People believe what they WANT to believe.

– Flu shot is useless

– There will be no consequences for the US to side with Putin and give up the position as the leader of the free world

– Email marketing is dead

…

…

Okay. That’s an awkward transition.

Email marketing is not in the same league as the other two…

But the idea still stands.

There will always be people claiming “email marketing is dead.”

Well, that’s good news for you.

This means your competitors are ignoring the low-hanging opportunities. Take advantage of this by emailing more and making it rain every month.
