It was 5:15 p.m.
I picked up the little one from childcare like usual.
We sent Tracy a selfie (proof that I didn’t forget the kid today), played a little on the way, and returned to my in-law’s place.
*Kla-Ka-Kla*
I turned the key 3 times, thinking…
“Hmm, why is the door shut tight today…”
I swung open the door into a… ruin!!
Large canvases hung from the ceiling. Plastic cardboard covered the floor. Curing tap wrapped the kid’s play area. Dust was EVERYWHERE.
“Right… it’s going to be like this for a month…”
I murmured in frustration.
My in-law’s 2 bathrooms are under reno.
The contractor stripped everything away today.
*sigh*
I know why we’re doing this…
I know this is a long overdue remodel…
I know the new bathrooms will be 10x better.
BUT
It’s still challenging living inside a house during construction.
This frustration reminds me of the reaction of many clients before we started working together.
Most business owners know email marketing exists…
Most business owners know they are leaving low-hanging fruits on the table…
Most business owners know I can help them maximize their CLV…
BUT
It’s still scary to make this kind of investment.
Admitting you don’t have the know-how. Seeking expertise. And handing your account to a stranger you met online.
This is not a small achievement.
That’s why I always take my clients’ list seriously, sending a weekly status update with a quantitative (the numbers) and qualitative (the explanation) report.
I appreciate the trust.
Finding a professional you can trust is no easy task.
(and if you don’t know anyone, you know where to find me ;-))
