I almost strangled the little one.
This happened last week:
It was 4 a.m.. I was burning with a 40°C fever. Yet…
The little one has been flipping and rolling around on his bed like Cirque du Soleil for the last… 6 hours?!
(except Cirque du Soleil won’t bang their head into the wall twice every hour)
Picked her up – she cried.
Put her down – she cried.
Tucked her under the blanket – she cried.
But the moment you gave up… she rolled over, pushed up into a cobra pose, and let out a BIG smile.
It wasn’t because of the diaper…
She wasn’t hungry…
I STILL have no idea what happened.
So… it wasn’t a surprise that I woke up exhausted and ready to strangle the little one the next morning. (actually, 3 hours later)
I pulled out my phone.
Took one look at my calendar.
And decided…
I’m taking the day off.
Because I’ve uploaded all my clients’ campaigns a few days ago. I’m “off the hook” for any live work. All I have to do is monitor these campaigns, making sure they are inboxing and performing.
On the surface…
This isn’t a “mindblowing” insight.
“Big deal. You planned and wrote the campaigns in advance. 🙄”
But in reality…
You’d be surprised how many e-commerces are scrambling at the last minute to create a promo plan for Friday this week.
Not just small ma-and-pa brands.
Big 8, 9, and even 10-figure companies, with a full marketing team(s), who cannot plan 2 weeks in advance—even if their lives depend on that plan.
So, starting tomorrow, I’m going to do a series on:
“How to create a laidback promo calendar that can make it rain every month—without the whole team scrambling last minute”
To be continued…
