I was scrolling through my FB feed to find interesting ecom brands…
~This is how I replaced 8 marketing positions with AI robots.
🙄
“Yeah, yeah, good for you…”
I kept scrolling.
~ “How to automate your whole marketing team with these 8 tools”
“Okay, that’s enough…”
I kept scrolling.
~ “8 AI tools that can help you get leads on autopilot”
“COME ON. ZUCKERBERG. DO YOUR JOB RIGHT.”
The market is flooded with AI experts… who used to be copywriting experts… who used to be SEO experts… who used to be MySpace experts (?!)…
Selling the idea of sitting on the beach while AI does your marketing for you on autopilot. However…
You know who needs “human marketing talents”?
OpenAI
🤣
I’m not kidding.
Right now, as I’m writing this email…
There are 362 job openings on OpenAI’s LinkedIn page, including:
~ Marketing Manager (San Francisco)
~ Marketing Lead (Seoul)
~ Content Strategist (San Francisco)
~ Communications Manager (Tokyo)
(The irony of this position…)
~ Growth – Emails, Notifications and Lifecycle (New York)
Don’t know what that last one means?
Here’s one of the job descriptions: “Collaborate with creative and design teams to craft compelling copy and visuals that reinforce ChatGPT’s brand and value proposition while driving measurable outcomes.”
So… email marketer. LOL
I think this seals the case on whether or not AI can replace humans in the marketing department.
To your success,
