how to punish your most loyal customers

I got an email from a brand running a promo:

Six flagship products. 1k+ value. 200 dough. Five days only.

Sweet deal.

But the second I saw the offer…

I threw my phone out the window, stormed out the room, yelling –

“I’m ROBBED. REFUND. GIMMIE.”

I’m pissed because…

A few weeks ago, I purchased three of the six products in that package… setting back a good…

(you guessed it)

200 moolah!

This is the ultimate problem with discounts.

You are punishing your best customers. The more I buy from you, the angrier I get when you offer a jump-off-the-cliff deal.

Every time you run a discount sale…

These ideas flash through my mind:

~ “I’ll wait… maybe there’s an even better deal”

~ “I will NEVER buy anything at full price”

~ “this product must be bad—or you won’t be discounting”

That’s a terrible positioning.

So, what do you do instead?

There’s one way to solve ALL these objections… allowing you to run profitable promotions without turning people off.

(plus without sacrificing long-term relationships)

Curious?

Reach out.

I’d be happy to share in private.

Cheering for you,
