Post Purchase Flow is the most overlooked flow.
The reason is…
Most business owners toss and turn in bed at 2 am, thinking about the acquisition.
~ How can I get more traffic?
~ Why aren’t my ads working?
~ What images/VSLs should I test for my Meta ads?
But here’s an interesting stat:
In the US…
25% of people with a 2-car garage don’t have room to park cars…
…and 32% only have room for one.
Let this sink in.
Because –
Do you believe these people still remember what’s in their garage… and will eventually take the items out to use?
Of course not.
I bet there’s a 5-year bagel… rotting in a 3-layer cabinet… covered under random plywood… hidden in a secret corner.
The sesame seeds on the bagel are sprouting mushrooms.
Most people do not USE what they buy.
(this is especially true in the US)
BUT
If a customer does not try/use/consume your product, they will not fall in love and become a repeat customer.
Because “consumption” is the best relationship builder.
This is why post-purchase flow is so important.
**Lesson for business owner**
Don’t make the mistake of treating the “transaction” as the end of a customer relationship. Instead –
It’s only the beginning.
Because retention happens after consumption.
If you want to turn customers into repeat customers (into raving fans)…
…start with the Post-Purchase Flow.
Do everything you can to encourage your customers to try, use, and consume your product.
To be continued…
