Entrepreneurs are the only people who…

One day, a businessman came to the beach and saw a fisherman lying on the beautiful beach, enjoying the warmth of the afternoon sun.

The businessman looked at the fisherman in disbelief and said:

“The weather is so good. You should be fishing rather than lying on the beach.”

The fisherman looked up, smiled, and asked:

“And what will my reward be?”

“Well, you’ll make more m.O.n.E.y. Then, you can get a bigger net and catch even more fish!” answered the businessman.

“And then, what will my reward be?” asked the fisherman, still smiling.

The slightly irritated businessman said, “You can invest in a bigger boat, hire some employees, build up a fleet, and create a legacy.”

“Okay. And then what will my reward be?” asked the fisherman.

“Why don’t you understand!? You will become so rich that you’ll never have to work again. Then, you can spend all the rest of your days lying on the beach enjoying the afternoon sun.” shouted the businessman.

Turns out –

“Entrepreneurs are the only people who will work 80 hours a week to avoid working a 40-hour job.”

I don’t recall where I first heard the quote, but it’s true.

It’s like an unhealthy cult.

– Apple CEO Tim Cook routinely emails employees at 4:30 a.m.

– Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos works 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.

– Tesla CEO Elon Musk demands people should work 80 to 100 hours weekly.

– Gary Vaynerchuk works from 6 a.m. to well after 10 p.m.

– MrBeast grinds for 20 days until burnout before taking a day off.

Now, I get it.

Work ethic is important.

Hard work pays off.

And sometimes you have to put in the sweat.

But there are other reasons why you started your e-commerce.

Maybe you want more freedom…

Perhaps you want to travel more…

Or maybe you want to spend quality time with your family…

The holiday season is coming up, and it’s THE TIME to do these things you love.

It’s okay to wind down for a week.

It’s okay to step back and collect yourself.

It’s okay to breathe a little.

Trust me. You’ll be so much happier (and more efficient) when –

You take a week off during the holiday and come back recharged.

Give it a try and thank me after the holiday.

Cheering for you,
