BFCM Tip #1

My original plan is to write a much-needed BFCM promotional guide. Think of it as the only guide you’ll need to plan a very (very) profitable sales event.

BUT

(and that’s a big but)

I’m on vacation right now. Wandering through the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, trying to stop my little one from licking the fish…

…while racing to claim a spot at the crowded restaurant.

So, it’s kinda hard to do a fully planned series at the moment.

However, we know Black Friday is just around the corner. It would be too late if I waited until I return to do this series.

With that being said, here’s what I’m going to do:

I’m going to give you a series of small, actionable tips.

Shorter emails. Quick stories.

Pair with one tip to boost your upcoming BFCM promo.

Starting with…

What I just did today!

I provided you with an honest update.

I explained my conflict.

I shared a snippet of my life.

I pivoted for the current situation.

I hinted at a plan for the next few days.

This is what most brands don’t understand. They are either scrambling all the emails last minute… or trying to write everything two weeks in advance.

When in reality…

You want something in the middle.

Starting with a plan and winging it on the fly.

A much better approach for BFCM.

Because life happens.

(Don’t forget that we might get another… and another 3 new tariffs anytime.)

Things get in the way.

Inventory runs out.

You must have the flexibility to pivot and optimize your strategy accordingly.

And this is my first BFCM tip for you:

Start now. Talk with your copywriter (or whoever is writing the emails for you). Build a plan. However, be prepared to pivot.

To be continued…
