I don’t allow the little one to watch TV with only one exception…
Right after the last milk… while we are waiting for Tracy to shower… and the little demon is at her peak restlessness…
I’ll pop open the TV, find a streaming service, and play some musicals.
Otherwise, I’ll just have to strangle her.
So…
A few weeks ago, I was flipping through the menu when I discovered –
The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)
“Great!”
(the little one looked at me with zero interest)
“Let’s figure out why the Internet went bazooka a few years ago about this tour.”
(she tried to crawl away)
“Come on, we’re already 2 years late to this party.”
(I pulled her back onto my lap)
“This is your chance to learn how to make a billion buckaroos.”
(she tried to escape by climbing over my head)
So, for the last few weeks, I’ve been chipping away at this show…
…10, 15 minutes at a time.
If you’re a parent, you’d probably know –
There is NO WAY you can do ANYTHING for 3.5 hours straight.
Anyhoo…
A few days ago…
I was about 2 hours and 14 minutes into the show.
One night, I finished feeding milk—as usual—sat down on the sofa—as usual—brought up Disney+—as usual—scanned through the menu—as usual—opened…
…
..
.
“WTF, where’s my show?!”
The Eras Tour was gone.
I don’t know if Disney+ removed it completely… or just in Taiwan.
But either way, I’ve lost the chance to finish.
😥
Lesson?
Don’t have a baby if you like to watch TV…
“Huh?”
“Not the right lesson?”
Trust me. You can ask my wife Tracy—she’ll tell you this is 100% true.
Another lesson?
If you know you have to do something…
Do the damn thing right now.
Don’t wait.
Because you don’t know if Disney+ will take it away overnight.
Just like –
If you know you should be increasing your email revenue, do it now.
Don’t wait.
To your success,
– WYH
