[100WSC] #025 (Nebula Snacks), #26 (Seattle Chocolate), #27 (Jacques Torres Chocolate): Welcome Sequence + One Actionable Tips

*yawn*

I stretched my hands fully up—twisting and relaxing my back. I’ve been sitting and writing for two hours, wrapping up yet another 100WSC.

*crip-crip*

I cracked my neck to the left… and the right. Then, I looked down at the screen, preparing to record another quick explainer video.

But I paused.

I thought for a second and wondered out loud:

“Hmm, this feels like beating a dead horse.”

This is getting boring.

I want to change things up:

So, this week, instead of one Welcome Sequence Sample (+ explainer video)…

I give you THREE.

Plus ONE actionable tip to punch up your welcome flow

Let’s dive in.

RECAP OF THE CHALLENGE [100WSC]

Before we dive in, here’s a quick recap for newcomers:

A while ago, my mentor told me that if you want to become the best in the world, all you have to do is do the thing EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Fine.

Here’s my journey to becoming the World’s #1 Welcome Sequence Guy For Ecommerce with the 100 Welcome Sequences Challenge [100WSC]

(you can read more on my site)

Full disclaimer

These are welcome sequence samples I wrote for a particular brand without first talking with anyone on the team. I’ll be reaching out to the owners to encourage a real test, but I won’t have real data for every flow

With that being said…

Welcome Sequence Tip

One reason I’m taking on this 100WSC is to test new ideas. I want to share with you things I learned along the journey so that YOU don’t have to write 100 welcome flows to find out.

But I don’t want to bombard you with a 19-lesson-learned checklist.

So, instead, I’ll share ONE simple tip you can implement right away in each post moving forward:

Tip: It’s easier to sell a product than a brand

A common theme I noticed is…

Most brands would go on and on… and on… trying to sell their “values.” Women-owned company. Ethical sourcing. Ego friendly.

yadi yadi yada

But this is so vague.

To your customers, there’s nothing concrete—just a bunch of big words from a faceless corporation. Why should I care?

And this is where I discovered:

It’s much easier to “share your value” by “selling a specific product.”

Tell the story behind the creation. Share the challenges you went through developing the product per a higher standard. Talk about the differences between products done right vs bad practices. Entertain using a relevant story that makes the product more “fun.”

When you do this…

It’s easy for prospects to accept your values, fall in love with your products, and become loyal customers.

Now, let’s look at some examples 👇
