In 2024, Netflix came out with a new series –
Chef’s Table: Noodles
They interviewed a pasta master, Evan Funke.
He dedicated the past 17, 18 years seeking out traditional female pasta makers, learning their shape, and perfecting the pasta like a religion.
(he would name each of his dishes after the pasta maker who taught him)
You can use the same dough to make over 400 different pasta types. Each shape gives you a unique texture, elevating the experience.
Looking back –
It’s interesting how most people think cookies must be 2-3″ in diameter and 0.25-0.5″ thick. What if…
…we switch it to a hunk?
A simple change in shape can swift everything. From the density of the bite… to the moisture it can hold… to the heartiness of the hunk.
Just like Heavenly Hunks.

BRAND INTRODUCTION
Heavenly Hunks has an interesting backstory.
It started with a secret cookie recipe—locked in a safe for over 30 years—and a craving nephew who enjoyed the cookies as a baby.
One day, the aunt developed a new upgrade –
Making the cookie into a hunk.
The nephew loved the new version so much that he persuaded his aunt to start a business with him.

Welcome Sequence Strategy
WELCOME SEQUENCE STRUCTURE
Day 0 – Selling to the “Ready-to-Buy” prospects
- In every market, you will have ~2% of prospects who are innovators and ready to buy. All they’re looking for is a good deal plus a safe/smart decision
- Front-load your emails on Day 0 will give you a 20% boost on eyeballs
- Getting a reply early in the sequence will boost your deliverability significantly
Email 1 – Welcome Email w/ Origin Story
Email 2 – Deliverability Booster
Email 3 – Risk Reversal
If someone didn’t buy on Day 0, it means they need a little more persuasion. In every market, 13% of “On The Fence” prospects are early adopters who would love to buy if you give them the right reason.
This is why Day 1~7 is laid out similar to the structure of a compelling sales letter.
Problem > Top Selling Points > Objection Handling w/ Proof > Urgency
Day 1: Email 4 – Framing The Problem
Day 2~4: Email 5/6/7 – Top Selling Points (benefits, word paint, identity, etc)
Day 5~6: Email 8~9 – Objection Handling w/ proof
Day 7: Email 10 – FOMO (urgency + scarcity + opportunity cost)
But it’s also essential to remember that the majority of your customers will not buy unless they’ve interacted with you at multiple touchpoints.
According to data, ~85% of your potential customers will only become customers after staying on your list for 90+ days. You must attract and sustain their attention for months—without feeling sleazy or hard hit.
This is why entertaining with email storytelling is so important.
It has the potential to 5X your conversion in the long game.
